ℒ2-gain analysis of systems with state and input delays

چکیده
Sufficient conditions are presented for a system with input delays having finite L2-gain. The bounded real lemma conditions are infeasible when the actual and the delayed values of the input act on the system simultaneously. Considering the actual and delayed inputs as two independent inputs is shown to lead to very high upper-bound of the true L2-gain. Several approaches are presented involving a scaling method which is based on upper-bounds of the delayed signal norms; a method which transforms the input delays to state delays with the help of introducing additional dynamics; and a method based on integral quadratic constraints. Both timeinvariant and time-varying delays are considered. The methods are evaluated on an example of interconnected vehicles.

Eigenvalue Assignment Of Discrete-Time Linear Systems With State And Input Time-Delays
Time-delays are important components of many dynamical systems that describe coupling or interconnection between dynamics, propagation or transport phenomena, and heredity and competition in population dynamics. The stabilization with time delay in observation or control represents difficult mathematical challenges in the control of distributed parameter systems. It is well-known that the stabi...

In this paper, a robust adaptive actuator failure compensation control scheme is proposed for a class of multi input multi output linear systems with unknown time-varying state delay and in the presence of unknown actuator failures and external disturbance. The adaptive controller structure is designed based on the SPR-Lyapunov approach to achieve the control objective under the specific assump...
متن کاملDecentralized Model Reference Adaptive Control of Large Scale Interconnected Systems with Time-Delays in States and Inputs
This paper investigates the problem of decentralized model reference adaptive control (MRAC) for a class of large scale systems with time varying delays in interconnected terms and state and input delays. The upper bounds of the interconnection terms are considered to be unknown. Time varying delays in the nonlinear interconnection terms are bounded and nonnegative continuous functions and thei...
متن کاملA study of the generalized input-to-state ℒ2-gain of discrete-time switched linear systems
A generalized notion of the input-to-state L2-gains of discrete-time switched linear systems is proposed in this paper. Such gains are then characterized using the radii of convergence of a family of suitably defined functions called the generating functions. Properties of the generating functions are studied and their numerical computation algorithms are developed. Some numerical examples are ...

This paper is pertained with the problem of admissibility analysis of uncertain discrete-time nonlinear singular systems by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model with time-delays and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. Lyapunov Krasovskii functionals are constructed to obtain delay-dependent stability condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is dependent on the low...
